What counts as a seat?
Anyone who logs into your workspace — across every team and folder. Agents themselves aren't seats; they're billed separately so a small team can run a lot of automation.
What's an active agent?
An agent that's switched on and able to run. Draft and paused agents don't count toward your agent limit, so you can build freely and only pay for what's live.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Seat and agent counts are prorated to the day, so you only pay for what you use while you use it.
Do I need my own Claude key?
During the beta, yes — bring your own Anthropic API key and you only pay Relay for seats and agents. Managed inference is on the roadmap.
